Growth Behind Washer

The customer decided to move their dryer to replace a belt and found this scene. A hose had leaked from their washer and caused a growth on the wall behind the washer. The leak must have been going on for quite some time. The dry wall was beyond the point of repair. The team at SERVPRO of North Knoxville assured them that even this issue could be fixed. Although we were unable to save the existing drywall, we were able to tear out the existing drywall. The customer decided he would like to do the repairs on the drywall himself. He was glad we were able to get rid of the growth. Ideally, we would like to leave a finished product at the end of a job. In some cases, clients would rather do the repairs themselves and save a little bit of money. We were just glad to be of service.
