Flooded Basement

A call came in from a previous client that works for the local utilities board. After heavy rainfall, his basement had began to flood. The sewage drain in the street was clogged and there was no where for the contaminated water to go. SERVPRO of North Knoxville told him that this was not a job too big for us! We began extracting the water and placing drying equipment. Luckily, the utility board was able to unclog the storm drain and he was happy this issue should not happen again. There was minimal damage to his basement and he was extremely happy with the results of our combined efforts with the utility company. This just goes to show that there is a silver lining in every storm. The customer usually calls us to come out to other customers homes. He had no idea he would ever need our services himself. We were glad we got to take care of him and get his basement back to pre loss conditions.
